What if people could read their own obituaries?
During a movie date in 2017, Simon and Sara posed this question to one another and they haven’t stopped thinking about it. With their shared strong ear for narrative potential and emotional throughlines, they bring both liveliness and compassion to the story-telling process.
Sara is a clinical psychologist who has been helping people make sense of their stories for over 20 years. She maintains a psychotherapy practice in Seattle, WA. Simon is a playwright and news writer who once had a gig interviewing people who had been kicked off of The Bachelor and has written and produced over a dozen plays for the darkest dives in New York and Seattle. Together, they travel to unexpected places, are quick to delight, and are always listening for stories.
